Zelkova and Kaede

Zelkova is the guild master of Moon Tree and Kaede is his devout supporter. Though Sakaki and Zelkova are both prominent members of the guild, their relationship with its members is very different. Zelkova enjoys not just being Moon Tree's guild master, but also playing "The World" as a normal player. In fact, his first meeting with Haseo is in a dungeon by chance, where he and Kaede are adventuring. Sakaki, on the other hand, is very serious about Moon Tree. It is a fact that Sakaki's followers outnumber Zelkova and a rumor that he is trying to take over the guild.

It is these rumors that Kaede takes seriously. She shows a dislike for, or at least a very tense relationship with, Sakaki over them and suspects he is trying usurp Zelkova's place. However, in the face of her suspicions, Sakaki only smiles and continues to act his part as the understanding and considerate Moon Tree member.
