Sometime into the episode, a black blur races past Starfire and Raven before overtaking the T-Car. The identity of this speed demon is revealed only a few moments later, as Robin desperately reaches to pull the briefcase out of the Ding Dong Daddy's hand.

Red X slams his motorcycle against Robin's, making a violent entrance. He makes his intentions clear: Robin's briefcase is up for grabs and he's gonna grab it.

While the Ding Dong Daddy continues on his merry way, Red X and Robin battle it out on their motorcycles, performing ridiculously impossible stunts at high speeds. Robin asks X why he's competing; the case means nothing to him. He's doing nothing but helping the Ding Dong Daddy.

X replies that he's, once again, helping himself. He'll win the case and sell it. Robin is, understandably, upset about this and does everything in his power to drive X off.

Eventually, the Ding Dong Daddy uses his suped up hot rod to ice the road behind him. He follows this up by releasing numerous tiny bouncing bombs into the newly created freeze zone. X and Robin dart between protruding ice spikes and explosives, wildly swerving around each other and the obstacles.

And then Red X's luck runs out, and he hits a bomb. Thrown from his motorcycle, it seems like he's finally gotten himself in over his head.

But, because it is his heroic way, Robin grabs the thief's wrist and yanks him onto the back of his own bike. Red X comments that saving him was a mistake, and Robin says nothing in response. X seems to realize the gravity of the situation to Robin, and asks if the contents of the briefcase are really that important.

Robin responds with a stoic, "you have no idea".

"Then go get it", X tells him, and launches himself from the back of Robin's bike. Without any remorse, but maybe a bit of satisfaction and amusement, Red X methodically defeats every other villain in the race save the Ding Dong Daddy.

And he doesn't just beat them. He does it with style.

After running the gauntlet, X lands on the roof of a peculiar looking bus being powered by a rocket and driven by Raven. He tells she and Starfire that he and Robin are even... for now.

And then he jumps from the bus and vanishes.
