About
Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha
Here's the low down: Japan, the 1920s. Demons plague the Capitol and only one man -- or boy, whatever -- stands between the city and certain destruction: Raidou Kuzunoha the Fourteenth. Using just his sword, his guns, his wits and oh -- a few tubes full of demons of his own, Raidou is the latest in a long line of Devil Summoners charged with safeguarding the Capitol. No matter how big the conspiracy or how powerful the demon, Raidou will take the case.
Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha is a pair of games released by Atlus as part of their Shin Megami Tensei franchise. Thus far two games have been released: Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs the Soulless Army and Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs King Abaddon, both for the Playstation 2. There have also been tie-in drama cds, a light novel, and a manga released online.
Shouhei Narumi
Shouhei Narumi, age thirty-something-or-other, is the owner of the Narumi Detective Agency and the first man to turn to when you've got a problem too big to handle alone. Just don't expect him to get all excited about it; Narumi likes his clothes, his toast, his coffee, and his naps. His philosophy is that a man's job should be fun and if there's anything Narumi excels at, it's abiding by that philosophy.
Things weren't always so rosy for Narumi. He was once a spy and became so disillusioned by his job he left the army. Now he runs the detective agency to house Raidou Kuzunoha at the behest of the Yatagarasu and act as the summoner's base of operations. But Narumi's ties to the military are still strong; he's got enough contacts to get the information they need when they need it.
